Santa Mania Partnership Announcement: Christmas Bureau of Edmonton

Capital City Burlesque is pleased to announce our partnership with the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton this year. With your support, we can bring the joy and light of the season to Edmontonians in need.

Since 1940, the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton has promoted the spirit of holiday caring and sharing by providing nutritious, festive meals to families, seniors and children in need.

The Christmas Bureau provides those in need with a one-stop application process to access 3 different holiday programs: Food hampers or food gift certificates, toys through 630CHED Santas Anonymous for children ages 0-12, and gift card for teens aged 13 to 17 through our Adopt-A-Teen program.

Over 40,000 people will turn to the Christmas Bureau for help this holiday season - with 50 per cent of the recipients being children and youth under the age of 18. Their clients could be your neighbour, your child's best friend, or the widowed senior down the street. You may know them but you may not know the struggles they may be facing.

For Christmas Bureau clients, the stresses of being able to provide a festive celebration are lessened by the gift they receive from the Christmas Bureau, and the opportunity to share the simplest traditions - eating together and the excitement of opening a meaningful gift - is made possible through their programs.
